Meg + Shane: Wedding

Meg and Shane are such a wonderful, loving couple. It was an honor to be with them throughout their day. It was a beautiful wedding in a beautiful church on a beautiful day in September...

You could see that Meg's mom savored every minute of the day...

Meg's day was filled with symbols of her family's love, like the veil that her grandmother made for her...

Stepping into the shoes...

Shane, just a minute before "go time".

Shane, taking in his bride; and Meg, taking in the moment.

The ceremony was held at St. Alphonsus, where both Meg and Shane's families have attended together for years.

Leandra and I joined the bridal party on the trolley to spend the time between the morning ceremony and evening reception driving around Grand Rapids, celebrating, and relaxing.

My view:

and Leandra's.

If you read our blog, you might remember this shot from a few months ago...

So we had to get this shot when the wedding party spent some time at Meg's house:

This picture isn't anything spectacular, but we just had to share it because we love their expressions! We think Meg looks like she's modeling the cake knife, and Shane looks like he's guarding the cake with his life.

An emotional toast from Emily, Meg's sister.

Thriller.

One more of Meg and Shane. Love this one...

Meg and Shane, we have absolutely loved working with you. The wedding was beautiful, and we are so excited for you to finally see all of the pictures!

Coming up soon... Carol + Josh's full engagement post, Karissa + Rylan's sneak peek, and Amy + Craig's sneak peek. Thanks for hanging in there everyone-- we have been working like crazy to catch up after some computer trouble, and we are almost there. We appreciate all of your patience!
